At WakeMed, we provide the highest standards of care, which includes serving delicious, fresh, high-quality meals as patients begin their recovery. We have partnered with Morrison Healthcare, a leader in food, nutrition and support services, to provide patient dining services across the system. The Morrison Healthcare Food & Nutrition team at WakeMed oversees menu development and food production. We are proud to offer patients nutritious meals designed to correspond with physician-ordered diet restrictions.

Patient Meals

A Patient Dining Associate will deliver all meals to your room at a pre-determined time. A patient dining associate will visit your room daily to take your orders for the following day. Should you be unable to place your orders at the bedside, please call us:

  • Raleigh Campus: Extension 08185 or 919-350-8185

To ensure timely delivery, all orders should be placed by the following times: 

  • Breakfast by 6:30 pm evening prior
  • Lunch by 10 am
  • Dinner by 3 pm

Your diet, like your medication, is an important part of your treatment and may speed your recovery. You will receive the diet ordered by your doctor who may transition your diet through your stay.

North Hospital patients can place an order by calling ext. 18328 from a hospital phone or 919-351-8328 from a personal phone. 

Patients may also order online via two convenient methods: 

  • Log into MyChart and select “Let’s Eat.” Your personal information will be pre-populated.
  • Visit our online ordering portal directly. Nou will need to enter your medical record number, date of birth and hospital facility ID (wakemed27610).

Guest Meals

Guest Meals

WakeMed Raleigh Campus offers meal and snack options for guests. 

  • Café 3000 is located on the first floor of the Raleigh Campus open 6 am to 1 am daily. 
  • Panera Bread is located on the first floor of the Raleigh Campus next to the Gift Shop and Outpatient Pharmacy.

For the convenience of our patients' family members and visitors, WakeMed offers guest meals in all inpatient areas for a fee of $8.

Visit the GET Portal to order a guest meal to be delivered to the patient's room. 

  • Select "WakeMed Health and Hospitals" from the drop-down menu.
  • Choose Guest Meal Delivery for the appropriate hospital location.
  • Make your selections and purchase your meal.

  • Points West Café is location on the ground floor of Cary Hospital, open 6:30 am – 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
  • The Bistro is located in the main atrium of Cary Hospital open 6:30 am – 9:00 pm Monday-Friday and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday.
