Looking for one-day or short-term volunteering, or fun group activity for your coworkers, church group, scout troop or civic group, and a chance to do something good for your community? We have some one-time volunteering opportunities that are a great way to have a meaningful and worthwhile experiences at the location of your choice and at a time that will work best for you.

Your Impact:

1. You will be making a difference in the life of a patient at the hospital, giving them care and comfort.

Before You Volunteer Your Time: Things to Consider

1. Must cover any cost that occur for in-kind donations of sewing items, toiletries, children, or adult items. In-Kind Donations

2. We are unable to sign off on service hours needing verification of community service hours for donations.

3. We can provide service hours for Short Term and Hospital Event Volunteering.

3. Donated items can be delivered to WakeMed Raleigh Campus or WakeMed Cary Hospital by contacting volunteerdonations@wakemed.org or Cary Hospital: 919-350-2363 or Raleigh Campus: 919-350-8293 to arrange a time to drop off. We are unable to accept donations at WakeMed North currently. Please contact Cary Hospital to arrange for donations to be delivered to North Hospital.
