Pharmacy Interns
WakeMed Pharmacy Intern Positions
WakeMed offers a pharmacy student intern program focused on inpatient transitions of care services. Interns will gain exposure to patient care, research, and clinical inpatient health systems at Raleigh Campus.
Program Requirements:
- Three pharmacy student clinical intern positions with a 1–2-year commitment starting in May
- NC Board of Pharmacy intern registration required
- Currently enrolled in P2 or P3 academic year
- Weekend staffing on the Admission Med History Service (8 am to 4:30 pm Saturday/Sunday, every third weekend)
- Summer staffing in inpatient transitions of care services, 8-week summer block (32 hours/week)
Compensation:
- Per HR guidelines, compensation is at the pharmacy technician II level
