Virtual Gestational Diabetes Class
Description
Our Virtual Gestational Diabetes class is led by our Registered Dietitian who works closely with our Maternal Fetal Medicine provider team. The class provides diabetes education tailored to pregnancy. Topics include blood sugar monitoring, treatment goals, risks, importance of physical activity, multiple aspects of nutrition, and medications. Virtual classes will be alternating languages in English and Spanish every other week. The class materials are linked below for access prior to the class.
Meeting Times
Every Friday at 9:30am alternating languages between Spanish and English
Classes will be held virtually through EPIC patient’s will login through MyChart
How to Register
Patients will be referred by their OB-GYN provider and will be scheduled by our referral coordinators. Once scheduled, patients will receive a video visit link and class education material via MyChart.
