Dr. Gurvinder Deol is a board-certified (FAAOS), fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon with extensive experience in the field of minimally invasive spine surgery. He has expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex degenerative disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, and specializes in spinal trauma, spinal deformity surgery and spinal tumors.
Dr. Deol frequently teaches techniques to neurosurgeons and spinal surgeons from around the world, and has recently developed new minimally invasive spinal technology that allows for more rapid recovery and minimizes postoperative pain typically associated with spinal surgery.
Recently, Dr. Deol was named America’s Best Spine Surgeon 2024 by Newsweek. The list was compiled in partnership with Statista using a combination of Medicare data and state-specific survey results from experts in the field. The selection process included patient outcomes, quality scores and surveys by peers.
