About Me
Missy Gilbert received her Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC and her Masters of Science in genetic counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Greensboro, NC.
Gilbert provides genetic counseling services for patients undergoing a high risk pregnancy as well as individuals desiring pre- and post-pregnancy discussion on genetic concerns for a future pregnancy. Gilbert is passionate about guiding patients through the complex process of prenatal and genetic testing while attending to their emotional needs, providing equitable care, and serving her community. In her free time, she enjoys tailgating NC State games, reading and outdoor activities with her husband, puppy, and friends.
