About Me
Courtney Yerxa has been a board-certified genetic counselor since 2011 and has over 10 years of experience in the field of genetic counseling, specifically prenatal/preconception, cancer, and laboratory genetic counseling settings.
Yerxa enjoys working closely with patients at WakeMed who are experiencing a high risk pregnancy, as well as individuals who desire preconception counseling about genetic/hereditary concerns. Yerxa is also a contract genetic counselor for a not-for-profit at-home education and carrier screening program.
