About Me
Dr. Carmen Beamon is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She serves as the Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for WakeMed Physician Practices and has clinical interests in prenatal diagnosis and intervention, preterm birth prevention and management of high-risk maternal conditions.
Dr. Beamon completed a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship and an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH), where she served as chief resident. She also received her medical degree, master’s degree in public health and bachelor’s degree in biology from UNC-CH. Dr. Beamon is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
