Application Process and Deadlines

For all programs, complete the ACPE Application and submit via email to lhadding@wakemed.org. Some programs may have supplemental requirements. See below for details.

Internships

  • We consider applications for Spring, Summer and Fall Units on a rolling basis. Applicants are encouraged to apply early.
  • Academic-Year Prison/Hospital-Based Unit Application Deadline: April 1.

Residency

  • Application Deadline: December 1.
  • Second Year Residency applicants must also submit a two-page (maximum) response, answering the questions:
    • What have I learned about myself in my time in CPE?
    • What would I want to learn or demonstrate in another year of CPE?

Fellowship

  • Not accepting applications at this time.
