Our top priority is to protect the health and wellbeing of our patients, their families and our staff who are working on the frontlines. While we recognize the important role that visits from loved ones play in the healing process, we must have visitation restrictions in order to protect lives. Learn more.

Breastfeeding Support Group

Breast Feeding

We will now offer virtual support groups.

Our Post-Partum Support Group which will run Wednesdays at 10:30 am and our Breastfeeding Support Group will run Wednesdays at 5:00pm.

  • Please email Kerri Kristoff at KKRISTOFF@wakemed.org if you’re interested in joining the Post-Partum Support Group
  • Please email Christina Williams at CHWILLIAMS@wakemed.org if you’re interested in joining the Breastfeeding Support Group.

These FREE support groups are staffed by certified lactation consultants and are designed for moms and breastfeeding (or breast milk feeding) babies from birth through the first year of life.

We offer an open, supportive forum to talk about the challenges and joys of breastfeeding as well as an opportunity to weigh your baby.  Also, we know getting out of the house can be hard for new moms, so please feel free to come as you are and it is OK to arrive late.

Also, we will follow Wake County School System’s calendar for holidays as well as closings-delays decisions.

Call 919-350-8235 or email Shavonne Brewington for more information.
