Radiography Tech Apprenticeship

Radiographers are skilled health care professionals who use radiation to produce images of the human body.  

What is an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships combine paid on-the-job training with classroom instruction to prepare workers for highly-skilled careers. Workers benefit from apprenticeships by receiving a skills-based education that prepares them for their career. Apprenticeship programs help employers recruit, build, and retain a highly-skilled workforce.

Expectations:

• Remain in good academic standing
• Follow all WakeMed policies and procedures
• Invest in continuing professional development and learning
• Learn and implement the WakeMed Behaviors and Tenets

Requirements:

• Must be in their last year of their dedicated program
• Must be in an accredited radiology program
• Must be able to provide verification of enrollment in the programs
