Dr. Ronald Alan Summers is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon. He is an accomplished surgeon with expertise in knee and shoulder arthroscopic procedures. He also performs total knee replacements, as well as partial or unicompartmental knee replacements.
Dr. Summers previously served as the team physician to Enloe, Middle Creek and Green Hope High Schools. He received the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Award for Medical Service to Member Schools in 2009. Dr. Summers also participates in a high school student mentor/job shadow program and the NC State pre-med mentor/job shadow program.
