About Me
Reece Long is a board-certified, doctoral-prepared physical therapist, with clinical interests in traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, vestibular rehab, stroke and aquatics. She began her postsecondary education at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. She went on to earn her doctorate at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. She relocated to Chapel Hill, NC, where she completed her residency at University of North Carolina Hospitals.
Long holds the belief that every individual is distinct and deserves a personalized approach to their treatment. This perspective drives her commitment to assist patients in uncovering their true potential and regaining confidence in their own bodies. She aims to create tailored treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and circumstances of each person, fostering an environment where they can feel safe and supported. By focusing on individual strengths and challenges, she works to empower clients, helping them to embrace their uniqueness and embark on a journey toward holistic well-being.
When not working with patients, Reece enjoys running marathons, coaching a youth rowing team and baking.
