About Me
Dr. Matthew Sproul is a board-certified family medicine physician with expertise in both urgent care and family medicine with clinical interests in all things urgent care, including repairing cuts, draining boils, correcting vertigo, fixing nursemaid elbows and fighting the good fight against germs of all kinds — be it bacteria, viruses or fungi. He is also interested in pediatrics and adolescent health, sports medicine as well as wilderness & travel medicine.
Dr. Sproul began his medical career in 2005, serving as an urgent care physician with Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, followed by years of experience with numerous major health systems in the Triangle area. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Sproul strives to help others achieve health and wellness of both body and mind. He is committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care.
Outside of work, Dr. Sproul enjoys being out in nature, especially hiking, biking and traveling. He's also an avid reader who "cannot put down a good book."
