About Me
Dr. Katelyn Brown specializes in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations with adults and older adults with complex medical histories. Her areas of clinical interest include neurodegenerative conditions, including Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal lobar degeneration, frontotemporal dementia and primary progressive aphasia; movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease; and autoimmune disorders, such as multiple sclerosis. She also has specialized training in providing pre/post-surgical evaluations for epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, brain tumors and normal pressure hydrocephalus populations. In addition to her clinical experiences, Dr. Brown has extensive research experiences primarily focused on compensatory strategies, ecological validity of neuropsychological assessment and instrumental activities of daily living.
She strives to connect with patients and families in a way that is accessible and respectful, offering evaluations and communicating results with compassion and empathy, while also providing recommendations that are practical and tailored to their needs.
