About Me
Karen is a physical therapist who enjoys treating patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics. As an orthopedic physical therapy specialist, she helps patients successfully recover from joint replacement and other orthopedic surgeries. She also helps patients with falls prevention, general strengthening and conditioning, gait abnormalities and overcoming joint and back pain.
Karen earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and her doctorate degree from East Carolina University. She loves the time she gets to spend with her patients, helping them restore physical function and quality of life with manual techniques and therapeutic exercise. In her spare time, Karen spending time with husband and three children, going to the beach and cheering on the Virginia Cavaliers!
