Celestine Chebet, MD

Dr. Celestine Chebet is a board-certified family medicine physician with clinical interests that include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, women's health, hypertension, diabetes, lifestyle modification and evidence-based primary care. She also enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and caring for individuals and families across all stages of life.

Dr. Chebet completed her medical school education at Moi University College of Health Sciences in Kenya. She finished her family medicine residency at Southern Regional Area Health (SR-AHEC) in Fayetteville, NC.

Dr. Chebet believes the foundation of excellent health care is listening to her patients. She takes the time to understand patients’ concerns, goals and unique health needs, so together they can develop personalized plans. Her approach emphasizes compassion, respect, patient education and preventive care, with the goal of helping patients achieve and maintain their best possible health.

Outside of work, Dr. Chebet enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling locally and abroad, exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. She is also committed to staying active as well as relaxing and recharging with loved ones.
