Callan Fike, PA-C

Callan Fike is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in trauma, acute care surgery, robotic and minimally invasive surgery. She received her bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science, as well as Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. With her diverse medical background, Fike joins WakeMed most recently from Maryland where she practiced as a multi-specialty surgical physician assistant at Holy Cross Hospital and a trauma physician assistant at John Hopkins Medicine, Suburban Hospital.

Fike believes that patients need to be heard, especially during difficult times. She feels that sometimes truly listening to a patient is the best medicine you can offer. Outside of work, Fike enjoys running, hiking, gardening, traveling and interior design.
