Brandon Schoonover is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in trauma and surgical critical care. He attended undergraduate at University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, GA. He then earned a master’s degree while attending Mercer University in Macon, GA.

He prioritizes keeping patients well-informed about their treatment plans and the steps they need to take for their recovery. By providing clear explanations and answering any questions they might have, he empowers them to take charge of their health once they return home. His approach gives patients confidence in managing their care and also fosters a sense of independence, allowing them to apply what they've learned in a practical way. Ultimately, his goal is to ensure that they have all the necessary tools and knowledge to continue their healing journey beyond inpatient hospitalization.
