Annie Chen Pugh, MD

Dr. Annie Pugh is a board-certified internal medicine physician who plays an integral part in shaping the Hospital At Your Home program at WakeMed as the physician, program director. Dr. Pugh believes that moving the acute care into patients’ homes is the next frontier of medical care. Dr. Pugh received her medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina and completed her internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She also is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Pugh enjoys building a relationship with her patients and engaging with them to come up with a care plan. Outside of work, Dr. Pugh enjoys hiking, camping and visiting national parks with her family.
