About Me
Aaron Burman is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in surgical management for diseases of the thyroid/parathyroid. He received his master’s in physician assistant studies from Duke University and bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Burman brings over a decade of clinical experience to WakeMed.
Burman’s approach to patient care has always been to put the patient's best health interest first, with kindness, compassion, and understanding. Outside of work, Burman enjoys playing the guitar, spending time outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and two rescue dogs.
