MyChart Video Visits

We are pleased to offer video visits so you can safely complete your appointment from the comfort and safety of your home. This is all part of our commitment to keeping you and your family healthy, safe and well.

Follow these steps to ensure a successful video visit.

 

1. Access WakeMed MyChart

Video Visits work best if you are using the MyChart app on your Smartphone or tablet.

To get started, download the WakeMed MyChart App.

You can also use your computer for your video visit, but you will need to make sure it has a microphone and a camera.

2. eCheck-In Before Your Appointment

eCheck-in by clicking the link sent to you in an email or text message OR you can log in to MyChart directly to eCheck-in.

During eCheck-In, you can:
  • Complete all questionnaires.
  • Verify your address.
  • Sign any necessary forms.
  • Pay your co-pay.
You can also:
  • Make any changes, updates or additions to your demographic information.
  • Update your insurance.
  • Add new medications and allergies.

3. Ten Minutes Before Your Appointment

  • Make sure you are in a private, well-lit area.
  • Log into WakeMed MyChart.
  • Click “Visits” and find your appointment
  • Your provider will join in just a few minutes
  • If you have any problems, call your provider’s office

4. After Your Appointment

Once your appointment is over, you can use your MyChart app to:
  • See your after-visit summary.
  • View your physician’s notes.
  • Communicate with your care team.
  • Request prescription refills.
  • Pay Your Bill.
