The process from check in to scheduling follow up appointments was seamless. All of the staff was very friendly. Dr. Forbes was very interested in my overall health and offered ways to make things better. I am very happy that I waited 4 months to see him.

Everything was more than satisfactory
Dr Forbes is patient, listens well and keeps me informed of my progress. His directions are clearly detailed. He presents options for treatment and gives me the chance to ask questions and then choose my own course of treatment. I especially like his manner of communication. He uses no condescension.

Being a chronic condition with at-the-time reduced symptoms, I felt it important that the care provider listened to and considered the several weeks-long context, which Dr. Forbes patiently did. My condition may have improved on its own over time anyway, but the discussion was helpful for me to manage the last stage of my condition.
Dr. Forbes seeks to find the best solutions for my asthma management. He considers my experiences, my medical history as well as drug costs when advising me on my condition. He is thoughtful and demonstrates genuine care about me as well as my medical condition.

Dr. John and his nurse Jen, both were so friendly, considerate, concerned and professional! Dr. John took his time and sat and talked to me. He made me feel very comfortable telling him some of my past experiences and medical history! He sat down to talk to me at my level! He didn’t tower over me like he was so superior over me. Being a retired law enforcement officer that is one of the most important aspects of making someone comfortable talking to you. He thanked me for my service after I told him that I was a retired officer! He explained what he would like for me start taking for my breathing problems. He also explained what tests he would like for me to have and why! I never felt rushed or uncomfortable with Dr. John. Y’all need to have these two employees give talks to other employees on how to actually treat a patient. Especially if they are s new patient! WakeMed needs to make sure that employees like these are shown how appreciated they are to the Practice and they stay!
