Victoria Gutierrez, DNP, FNP

Victoria Gutierrez is a board-certified, doctoral-prepared family nurse practitioner with clinical interests in preventative care and education, nutrition and exercise. Additionally, she has a special interest in mental health and the mind/body connection to one’s physical health as she believes they go hand-in-hand when caring for patients. She earned her undergraduate degree while attending Campbell University, Catherine W. Wood School of Nursing in Buies Creek, NC. She completed her doctorate at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Nursing in Chapel Hill, NC.

Gutierrez believes that evidence-based and clear communication as well as education are essential to encourage patients to take charge and make informed decisions related to their health. She strives to provide comprehensive explanations and information — not only for current appointment concerns — but also for future preventative measures.

When not seeing patients, Gutierrez enjoys reading books on fiction or Greek mythology, listening to music, exercising in various way to keep it fun, kayaking, traveling and spending time with her family. She also loves trying new restaurants with diverse culinary cuisines and going to cafes to try pastries and teas.
