He is knowledgeable in his area, but aside from that he is honest and genuinely concerned about his patients and their needs. He explains things, even the challenging ones, in way that one can grasp. Bedside manner cannot be taught—and Dr. Rusher definitely has it! He is very good at building rapport and trust. These traits are the basis for establishing the foundation of care between patient and doctor.
