Taryn Ryan, MD

Dr. Taryn Ryan is a board-certified family medicine physician with a clinical interest in the variety that family medicine provides. She enjoys the stark contrast in caring for a four-month-old for a well-child check and then moving into another patient room to see an 85-year-old for a Medicare wellness visit. She is most passionate about preventive care, adolescent development, women's healthcare and in-office procedures. She completed her bachelor’s degree while attending The Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. She then moved to Worcester, MA, to finish medical school at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.

Dr. Ryan enjoys meeting patients where they are and working with them towards their health goals. She believes her job is to educate patients about the best recommendations for their condition, with a strong emphasis on preventive care.

Dr. Ryan loves staying active. She hikes with her two dogs, runs marathons and enjoys CrossFit. (She grew up doing gymnastics.) She also enjoys traveling and has visited Banff, backpacked in Washington state and traversed through Olympic National Park. She recently enrolled in a pottery class and plans to keep up this fun hobby.
