Tanaya Foster, PA-C

For Tanaya Foster, it is a privilege to take care patients. Foster has worked in both inpatient hospital and outpatient physician office settings since 2001 including work at both North Carolina Heart & Vascular and Wake Heart Research as well as WakeMed Heart & Vascular Physicians practices. She joined Duke University Medical Center in April 2017 and finds herself back at the WakeMed Heart Center, via the Heart Care Plus+ collaborative, working closely with advanced heart failure patients.

Foster is married and has a daughter. They enjoy spending time and traveling with family and friends. Foster also practices what she preaches in the office by staying active with exercise (she enjoys interval training and kickboxing to help de-stress) and eating a well-balanced diet. “I want my daughter to understand the importance of exercise and eating well that will lead to a healthier life.”
