About Me
Stephanie Tingling is a psychiatric physician assistant with clinical interests in psychotic disorders, mood disorders and substance use disorders. She earned her undergraduate degree while attending Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. She went on to complete a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY.
Tingling’s patient care philosophy is multi-philosophical combining empathy, compassion and patient-centered care with evidence-based practice. Medicine is a collaborative effort between patients, patient families and providers, depending on patient decision-making capacity. She is a firm believer in involving patients’ families in their care if consent is given. Ultimately, she moves through the ideology that the highest standard of care is whatever is in the best interest of the patient.
When not seeing patients, Tingling indulges in mystery novels, music, self-care, time with family and time with her cat. She is also a huge foodie, and her favorite is Korean food.
