Dr. Saurav Pokharel is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease with a clinical interest in respiratory illness.

Experiencing his own medical emergency has greatly shaped Dr. Pokharel’s patient care philosophy. He is ever mindful that a day at work for him may be the most trying and terrifying period for patients and their loved ones, so he leads with empathy and a focus on treating patients the way he’d like to be treated. He believes in listening closely to what patients say because they will share what is affecting them most, reducing the time spent figuring out what is wrong. He also believes in wholistic care focused on treating the person, not just the clinical findings to provide the best, most compassionate care possible.

When not at work, Dr. Pokharel enjoys riding his motorcycle.
