Samantha Wingo, NP

Samantha Wingo is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner with clinical interests in women's health of all ages, contraception care management, preconception care, preventive medicine, and prenatal and postpartum care. She received her master’s degree in nursing from Duke University and bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina. Samantha brings a vast amount of experience in nursing, acute care and women’s health to WakeMed.

Samantha is passionate about women's health and strives to provide high quality, patient-centered care to women of all ages. She believes in creating an open environment where patients feel comfortable and at ease expressing their concerns and needs. From an early age, Samantha felt called to help others, and as a nurse practitioner, she plans to continue to follow that calling by caring for her patients. Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, playing tennis, running and exploring all the greenways and trails in the Triangle.
