Ruth Laughon, DMSc, MHS, PA-C

Ruth Laughon is a board-certified physician assistant who is passionate about providing preventative, patient-centered, individualized care to all. She has clinical interest in LGBTQ+ medicine, in-office procedures and reproductive health.

Laughon’s approach to care is one of patient and provider collaboration, with the goal of fostering a relationship founded in open and honest communication to encourage trust and connection. She partners with her patients to help accomplish their health goals, meeting patients where they are along their journey to health. Education is paramount to this process and involves providing evidence-based information about diagnoses and treatment options. Additionally, she cares for patients the same way she would care for a family member, a close friend or herself.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, bird watching, gardening, reading, crafting and spending time with her partner and dog. She is always looking forward to her next travel adventure and trying a new restaurant!
