About Me
Ruth Laughon is a physician assistant with clinical interests in women's health, pediatrics, preventative medicine, point of care ultrasound techniques and in-office procedures.
Laughon’s approach to care is one of patient and provider collaboration, fostering a relationship founded on open and honest communication to encourage trust and connection. She partners with her patients to accomplish their health care goals, meeting patients where they are along their journey to health. Education is paramount to this process and involves providing evidence-based information about diagnoses and treatment options. Additionally, she cares for patients the same way she would care for a family member, a close friend or herself.
In her free time, Laughon enjoys reading, cooking and going on nature walks with her partner and dog. She also loves trying new hobbies and traveling!
