Roberto Rupcich, MD

Dr. Roberto Rupcich is a board-certified family medicine physician with clinical interests in practicing full-spectrum family medicine. Dr. Rupcich is passionate about adolescent health. He believes mental health is critical to well-being and spends a great deal of time discussing this topic with patients. He also takes great pride in offering “in-office” procedures to patients that require them. This includes, skin biopsies, joint injections, toenail removals and placement of long acting reversible contraceptives. Dr. Rupcich continues to learn more about natural ways to live a healthy lifestyle so he can guide his patients with optimal nutrition and safe use of supplements. Dr. Rupcich earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and completed his family medicine residency at University of North Carolina (UNC) Hospitals.

Dr. Rupcich’s goal is to be an ally and help his patients reach their individual health goals. His wish is to be there for his patients and their families for decades to come. Dr. Rupcich believes this starts by developing a relationship based on trust and respect. Therefore, he feels that listening to his patients is the most important tool he has to perform his job. Outside of work, Dr. Rupcich enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and is excited that his daughter is already mesmerized by nature. They enjoy going to the beach, boating on Jordan Lake and hiking the Blue Ridge or Smoky Mountains in Western, North Carolina.
