About Me
Dr. Richard Walter Chan Tim was born and raised in California. He received a bachelor's degree from Stanford University in Stanford, CA, and an medical degree from the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine in San Diego, CA. Dr. Tim completed a neurology residency and a fellowship in electromyography and neuromuscular disease at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. He also served as head of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic at Duke and director of the Electromyography (EMG) Laboratory at the VA Medical Center in Durham. Dr. Tim is currently the director of the Nerve Conduction Study and Electromyography Lab. He sees patients for nerve conduction studies and EMG.
