This is my first time meeting Dr. Chan I thought he was everything a doctor should be! I was so happy to find a cardiologist. She listen to me. Unfortunately, my original cardiologist had to take a family leave of absence from Duke and I was struggling to find somebody who had the care of the compassion, the understanding of the education that I needed. I wish more doctors were like Dr. Chan.

Both myself and my partner are always seen at the same time by the doctor. We think that the doctor and he staff are really great at accepting the the Both of us who have cardiac issues to be seen at the same time. My partner and I keep up with each others health issues. Thanh You WAKEMED !

I must say I was extremely surprised with the amount of time Dr. Chan spent with me. He listened to my concerns (specifically about take/staying on the medication). He didn't try to change my mind but rather explained the possible ramifications if I didn't continue take the medications. With this visit, I now understand that regardless of what I do now, it will not after the blockage.
