About Me
Dr. Paul Oh is a board-certified gastroenterologist with clinical interests in all aspects of general gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Oh is proficient in upper endoscopy, including ablative treatment for Barrett's, colonoscopy, and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) for biliary and pancreatic disorders. Dr. Oh received his medical degree from The Pennsylvania State University and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Oh is fellowship-trained in gastroenterology from The Pennsylvania State University, The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He brings over three decades of patient care experience to the WakeMed team.
Dr. Oh believes in providing optimal patient care by taking the time to listen carefully to patients' health questions and issues before offering necessary treatments. When not at work, Dr. Oh enjoys walking local trails and greenways with his wife and their two dogs, attending cultural events, reading, and spending time with his two adult sons.
