About Me
Olivia Hodgson is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with clinical interests in primary care, women’s health, mental health, substance use, and health equity. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Duke University and master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Hodgson’s nursing background includes both adult and pediatric oncology, and general pediatrics.
Hodgson believes that a patient's entire life and their experiences play a role in their overall health and feels that it is her job to honor their previous experiences while providing the best evidence-based recommendations possible. She views each patient as a whole person and believes our clinics should be a safe space for all patients. Teamwork, kindness, and compassion are the key to Hodgson’s patient care philosophy. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, walking, running, yoga, painting, pottery, home projects, and spending time with her loved ones.
