From the moment I entered the building, I was made to feel welcome and important. Reception, the woman who weighed me and took my vitals, the woman who drew my blood, the wonderful doctor herself etc.., all were so efficient and kind. I had the same experience last year. Throughout my adulthood I have resisted going to see a doctor because it made me feel vulnerable and nervous, and as though I had done something wrong. I am so grateful for WakeMed Primary Care in downtown Raleigh. Thank you to every person there who made me feel special and worthy of this wonderful care.

The nurses! From the front counter associates to the nurses taking blood work and vitals. They made me feel very relaxed and keep me smiling even though I hate going to the doctors office and needles.

I think the Doctor was very aware of my independence handling my own healthcare, however, she took it over and all the doctors that I need to see have been scheduled for appointments. She is a rare find and I hope we can continue with our journey to get me back to my healthiest self soon. I had never engaged with a PCP before, but she is restoring my faith in the field for sure.

Dr. Narasimha was very transparent about cost of certain tests which allowed me to make informed decisions about the care I was seeking and gave me information to help me make my own decisions about my care and displayed concern and compassion when it came to our conversations around my general health and weight. Dr. Narasimha listened, took my symptoms seriously, and got me an appointment in radiology the same day. She called me three times in two days to ensure that I had followed up on the radiology visit (Raleigh Radiology did not share my results with WakeMed so she was unsure if I had gone) and to help me understand the results and next steps. She demonstrated a commitment to my care, and I am thankful that she is my physician.

I think everything went well with the visit. It was a new patient visit. I was a few minutes early for the appointment and was seen on my appointment time. The nurse was great going over my record, etc. The doctor spent all the time we needed discussing past issues and present needs. All went well and I'm happy with my choice of doctors.
The front desk was nice and the attending nurse was very cooperative specially the Doctor, she was outstanding. The doctor, she was very friendly and treat me very closely and explained very nicely regarding my physical condition. Prescribed me a medication which is necessary for me to take periodically.
