Nicholas Field, PA

Nicholas Field is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in the multimodal approach to cancer care, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive and patient-centered treatment plans with the goal of achieving the best possible outcomes. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. He then earned his master's degree through Duke University in Durham, NC. 

Field's patient care philosophy is grounded in empathy and partnership. He strives to help patients and their families navigate the health care system by meeting them where they are as individuals, particularly during the diagnosis and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions. He believes effective health care is built on a trusting provider–patient relationship that values open communication, shared decision-making and respect for each patient’s lived experience.

When not caring for patients, Field enjoys running, swimming, weightlifting, playing volleyball (indoor and beach), playing tennis, doing fiber arts and hanging out with friends and his dog.
