Michelle Yost, DNP

Michelle Yost is a board-certified, doctorate level nurse practitioner with clinical interests in all things newborn. As a former neonatal intensive care nurse, she has always loved interacting with parents and their children. She attended undergraduate school at Duke University in Durham, NC. She went on to earn her doctorate at Baylor University in Dallas, TX.

Yost aims to treat patients with compassion, meeting them where they are in their health care journey. She strives to empower patients through education to give them the tools and confidence to make an influential change in their lives. As a mother, she hopes to provide the same care she would expect her child to receive.

When not seeing patients, Yost enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dog (a vocal husky). She loves to work out and spend time outdoors — especially going to the beach. She also finds a lot of pleasure in baking and has a claim to fame for what she believes is the best chocolate chip cookie recipe!
