Michelle McMoon, PA-C, PhD

Dr. Michelle McMoon has maintained clinical interests in Surgical/Trauma/Burn care (including critical care) for her entire career of around two decades. She enjoys taking care of the whole patient and ensuring continuity amongst all care teams. In addition, she is an ethicist and co-chair for the North Carolina Medical Society Ethical and Judicial Affairs Committee.

Dr. McMoon values patient-provider relationships built on trust and communication. She prioritizes listening to patients, encouraging them to speak openly and freely about their experiences and needs.

When not at work, Dr. McMoon enjoys exercising. In particular, she loves HIIT training, cardio exercise and amateur ballroom dancing with her husband, Paul. Together, they love to travel around the world, immersing in the local cultures.
