Megan Lombardi, MD

Dr. Megan Lombardi is a vascular surgeon, with board certification in general surgery and fellowship training in vascular surgery. Her clinical interests include general vascular surgery, spanning peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease, aortic disease and venous disease. She completed her undergraduate education at The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA, before attending medical school at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, PA. Thereafter, she relocated to Chapel Hill, NC, for both her residency and fellowship training at University of North Carolina Hospitals. She is a member of several professional societies, including American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Society of Vascular Surgery and International Society for Women Vascular Surgeon. She has numerous peer-reviewed publications and oral presentations to her credit.

Dr. Lombardi’s approach to patient care is centered on listening, building trust and treating each patient as an individual. She aims to make complex vascular conditions understandable by collaborating with patients in developing treatment plans that best fit their goals and lives.

Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Lombardi enjoys cheering for Penn State football, spending time outside with her dog and watching documentaries.
