Mark Scales, PA-C

Mark Scales is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in sports medicine and fracture care, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice. He began his postsecondary education at University of North Carolina at Asheville in Asheville, NC. He then earned an associate's degree in emergency medicine while attending Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College in Asheville, NC. He completed his master of physician assistant studies at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC.

He believes in a patient care approach that prioritizes healthy lifestyle choices over excessive medical interventions, aiming to guide individuals back to the activities they love. This philosophy reflects his commitment to empowering patients to take charge of their health and well-being. 

Outside of his professional life, Scales is passionate about weight training, hiking and cooking. He also enjoys working on auto repairs, showcasing his diverse interests and hands-on skills.
