Mariam Rashid, PA

Mariam Rashid is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in preventative medicine, women's health, minor outpatient procedures and overall physical health. Having worked both in urgent care and internal medicine, she enjoys all aspects of acute and chronic disease management.

Rashid believes it is very important to respect patients' preferences and values for shared decision-making. She finds patients experience better outcomes when they are actively involved in their health. Her aim is additionally to treat patients with the same dedication she would invest in those closest to her. She works hard to build strong patient-provider relationships by demonstrating compassion and strong listening skills.

When not at work, Rashid spends her free time with family and friends, enjoying nature, taking long walks, cooking, trying new cuisines, listening to music and watching movies.
