This was my first time being seen by a cardiologist and my first time meeting Dr. Silver. Dr. Silver spent quality time to teach me and explain things thoroughly. He made me feel heard and involved in my care. He never made me feel rushed and gave me the space to try to verbalize what I have been feeling in my chest. He made sense of it all through listening to my story and walked me through his rationale for ruling in or out certain diagnoses using my own descriptions. I could tell he really listened to me and wanted to help piece together the story with me. It felt like a team effort and his attention to listen reduced the need for extensive tests, imaging and invasive measures. I honestly have never been more impressed and wish he was a PCP so I could always have a provider like him caring for me!
