About Me
Maggie Small is a board-certified physician assistant with a clinical interest in total joint replacement. She also loves being part of a care team that mobilizes patients who previously were immobile or had pain with movement. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
Small believes taking proactive steps to avoid problems is far more effective than trying to fix them after they arise. This wisdom highlights the importance of being prepared and addressing potential issues before they escalate into larger challenges. Practicing good health habits can help patients avoid serious challenges. Prevention truly is better than cure.
When not caring for patients, Small loves playing outside with her two sons and daughter and watching football (Go birds!). She also enjoys walking on the greenway with her husband as well as doing any other form of exercise and movement.
