Li Xu, MD, FACOG

Dr. Li Xu is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with clinical interests in routine and high-risk obstetrics, minimal invasive and robotic gynecological surgeries, well woman care, contraception, infertility, abnormal bleeding and menopausal symptoms management. She received her medical degree from Shandong Medical University in Shandong, China. Dr. Xu completed her internship at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Xu brings over a decade of experience to WakeMed, with a vast amount of training in gynecological surgical care and high-risk obstetric care.

Dr. Xu believes in patient-centered care, making sure her patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options, and delivering high quality care that best fits a patient’s individual needs. In her free time, Dr. Xu enjoys painting, crafting, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
