Kimberly Wehner, NP

Kimberly Wehner is a doctoral-prepared, board-certified nurse practitioner with clinical interests in environmental effects on cancer development, financial toxicity in cancer care, clinician recruitment and retainment. She earned a bachelor’s degree and doctorate from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA.

Wehner’s philosophy of patient care is grounded in the belief that every patient deserves access to the most effective treatments available and that they deserve to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect. She believes in partnership and values collaboration between the health care team and patients and their loved ones. This helps engage patients in health care decision making, establishing trusting relationships. She aims to provide comfort, advocacy and evidence-based care, while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Outside of her professional life, Wehner enjoys fitness, family time, travel, books and dogs.
