Katie Whitley, PA-C

Katie Whitley is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in microsurgery, chronic wound care and oncologic breast reconstruction. She was drawn to plastic and reconstructive surgery for its wide range of techniques and highly individualized approaches to patient care. She is eager to continue learning about all the field has to offer.

Whitley's goal is to treat patients as whole individuals, recognizing not only their physical needs but also their emotional and mental stress that can accompany illness, chronic wounds or surgery. She strives to understand their personal barriers to care, tailoring her plan to fit their needs. She ensures patients have the resources and support they need in the hospital and once they are home. Her hope is to create a supportive and compassionate environment, doing her best to meet patients where they are in their health care journey.

When not caring for patients, Whitley enjoys doing yoga; hiking with her dog, Callie; and tending to her plants. She has a pretty impressive green thumb!
