Juliet Kelly, PA-C

Juliet Kelly is a board-certified physician assistant with a primary clinical interest in the intersection of evidence-based medicine and lifestyle-driven care. In cardiology, lifestyle factors, including nutrition and physical activity can be just as impactful as medications or procedures. As such, with a background in exercise science, she is especially passionate about the preventative side of cardiac care and empowering patients to take an active role in their heart health through movement and mindful eating. She also has a strong interest in heart failure management and is committed to supporting patients through every stage of their cardiac journey. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. She finished her master’s degree while attending Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC.

Kelly’s patient care philosophy is rooted in education and empowerment. She provides her patients with the knowledge and tools they need to better understand their health to induce their self-confidence in managing it. She believes that strong patient-provider relationships are built on trust, clear communication and a shared understanding. When patients are informed, they’re more engaged and active participants in their care.

When not seeing patients, Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors — whether it’s running on the American Tobacco Trail, hiking, walking her German Shepherd or relaxing at the beach. When not outside, she is typically in her kitchen trying new recipes or curled up with a good book.
