Julia Zhu, PA

Julia Zhu is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in acute care issues, procedures and preventive care. Zhu enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients, allowing for the best provider-patient partnership with the common goal of patient wellness. She received her master’s in physician assistant studies from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and bachelor’s in psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Zhu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Shanghainese dialect.

Zhu's approach to care is ensuring that she can provide the most holistic care possible for her patients. She believes that caring for patients is a team effort and she wants to not only be an advocate and champion for each individual's health, but also hear each individual's own personal concerns and work together to formulate the best personalized care for them while encouraging and emphasizing the importance for patients to be an advocate for their own health. Each patient brings something unique to the table and it's important to Zhu to be able to utilize her clinical skills to empower patients to achieve health and wellness while providing the tools and information necessary to do so. 

Outside of work, Zhu enjoys art projects, picnics, playing sports, trying new restaurants, cooking and baking. Zhu also loves visiting new cities and countries and immersing herself in their culture and cuisine.
